Blackwing.... COLORS. I went through a phase after college where I drew epically dense portraits of animals, exclusively with color pencils. I would have loved to have these then. Especially if paired with the Two-Step Long Point Sharpener, so the dang lead didn't break with each sharpening. I can't recommend this combo enough. Also, this set of color pencils look beautiful in the box- a great holiday gift set.

Blackwing Colors were designed specifically for coloring. Each pencil is made with Genuine Incense-cedar and includes a unique soft and smooth Japanese wax color core. Each pencil also features the same semi-hexagonal barrel found in our graphite pencils and a metal end cap that adds a bit of weight, giving the pencils a comfortable, balanced feel. 

Each set includes 12 colors.
