A Day in Seattle

January 2023

+ Seattle Art Museum. I always make it a priority to take in a little art when traveling, and this trip was no exception. The special exhibit, American Art: Stories We Carry, was a refreshing and overdue look at what "American" art means. And, loved the vibrancy and energy of the Anthony White show.

+ Brunch at the long running vegetarian restaurant, Sunlight Cafe is delightful. I go there mostly for their bottomless Yogi Tea (now, with oat milk!) and the people watching.
+ Consignment Shopping! We stopped in to visit our friends at Editor Consignment and at their sister location, Creature Consignment. I scored a sweet pair of drop crotch hickory stripe pants by Dr. Collectors, and regretfully walked away from the extraordinary yak hair (pictured) bomber jacket by masters, Dolce and Gabbana. My resources tell me this beauty is still available at Creature! Please, let me know if you snag it, so I can borrow it :)

+ Glasswing Shop is a must stop. Some of my favorite brands are here- Kapital, Zii Ropa, Lauren Manoogian, Cordera, orSlow, Jesse Kamm, Atelier Delphine, ARQ, 7115 by Szeki, Jan-Jan Von Essche, Maria Stanley, Michaela Greg, UZI, YMC.

+ Last but definitely not least, a friendly stranger recommended we try The Boat for and it did not disappoint! Beyond the tasty meal, the teenage style game was strong.
