How We Measure

In our measuring practices, we've taken some cues from one of our favorite online small biz resellers, Noihsaf Bazaar.

All pieces listed on our website are measured flat. To understand the sizing of a piece listed online, we suggest pulling out your favorite pair of paints/dress/top and taking those measurements. You can use these measurements as a base to compare to whatever you're considering purchasing online.

PTP: This is a measurements across the chest, from armpit-to-armpit.

STS: We take this measurement from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. When there is no shoulder, or a drop shoulder, we will make a note of that.

Sleeve: This measurement is taken from the back, from the center of the neck to the cuff of the sleeve.

Length: This is taken from the center of the collar or shoulder, straight down to the end of the shirt, pants/jumpsuits or dress.

Waist: This is taken from the top of the pants/skirt from one edge of the piece to the other.

Hip: This is the widest part of the pants/skirt/dress, which usually lands across the butt.

Rise: On pants, this is taken from the top of the front waistband, down to the seam of the crotch. With jumpsuits, we might list an inseam that runs from the shoulder down to the crotch.

Inseam: On pants or jumpsuits, this is taken from the crotch seam, down the inside of the leg to the hem of the pant leg.
